I mean it's cool that people have found a way to model edit, not 100% successfully... but at least get them to work for the most part again.

But I don't know, something about making your own folder in the WoW directory and then adding files to it doesn't seem safe.

I mean, I realize when you model edit there has always been a chance of getting banned, and I've learned to accept that. But making your own folder and adding files to it just seems even riskier.

What do you guys think?

You don't really make your own folder, but rather your own constructed MPQ file. I'm not 100% certain, but doesn't the warden just scan through processes?
If so it can of course if set right, find changes within in game.

All thought when working with noggit, it will create a folder for adts in your wow directory, but what harm those that really pose.
