Blood Elf to High Elf Name Change

I am currently almost complete with my new Quel 'Thalas but am in need of a Race name change. If anyone could do that, just for the character creation screen, would appreciate it. Thanks! Credit and +Rep will be awarded to you at the final post.

Take a look at ChrRaces.dbc. If you are using Taliis you can create a new string and type the number in the field for bloodelf.

Sadly, i have tried that but i dont no how to change the name, it wont save it. I have tried to edit the existing string but it wont let me click off it when editing meaning it wont save. I have tried to make a new string but it did the same thing for all the tabs.

if you do use Taliis, create a new string, by using the green + button on top of the strings screen. type something in like High Elf and then click the +, there should be a new entry now. Then note that number down of that last string, and type it in the field for bloodelves. Do note that u have to select another row when saving it, otherwise Taliis wont save it properly. If that STILL doesn't work, please upload your dbc file and i will edit it for you.

Everything doesn't reside in the DBC. To change it completely, 100%, you might have to edit some .Lua and XML files too. And I don't know, but I also think you have to do stuff in the DB.
