    Rudimentary Model Editing Problem

Upon returning to WoW, I found that the DK pet ghoul looked somewhat lame and wanted to change it. I followed the tutorial written by Grif (northrend ghoul to blood elf guard), however the end result was far from satisfactory.

I've noticed that the animations have changed to that of the Blood Elf guard, but nonetheless the evident resultant leaves much to be desired.
If I could be enlightened on any errors I could have made, I would appreciate it.
    Cheers

You forgot to use the .skin file. What I see is that the texture points or whatsoever are all over the place, and for that, you need the correct .skin file. There are 3 things that a model have:

    -M2
    -BLP
    -.SKIN

I bet the guide you used didn't told you about the .SKIN file, well, it's the same as swapping M2 or BLP, but if I remember correctly, the treepath ends as 00.skin so look that up.

Works like a charm now, much obliged. One final question: Is there a way to increase the size of the pet to player size? The model is completely correct but decreased to appropriate it with the nature of a pet. Again, props.
