Texture Quality exporting from wow modelviewer

    Hi

When I reskin an NPC with a texture from wowmodelveiwer in game the quality is "smoother" less detailed I am guessing lower resolution than normal in-game npc's. Does anyone know how to extract a texture from Wow at the same quality as the original models?. A is the original in-game, B is the reskin. Note: unless making a machinima and in close up it is not so noticable.

Wrong place to post this bud.
Ask a mod to move this to the Questions / Requests section.

The lowered quality is probably due to your conversion from BLP to TGA - try using the BLP to PNG converter, I have noticed it has less quality loss.

Also, do not export things as BLP, because then you have to convert them to something first.. which again, gives a quality reduction.

Also make sure the type of your saving is as high as possible if you are using TGA, if you are using PNG, always revert the quality / colour count to what it is when the original BLP is converter into PNG (other wise you will get texture faults)

    Hope this helped
