Not all of us are model editors, most are just curious.

Exporting an MD2 and converting it too a format you can work with is next to impossible from my understanding, mostly due to animations not being converted properly in the process.
^ This further proving the unlikelyhood that your request will be filled.

All you have to do is go to your CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc file and edit entries 15475 and 15476. You'll want to change column 5. Anyways, it doesn't look like this changes the character selection screen, but it definitely changed the size in-game for me (I set it to 3 for testing, which is 3x the size). Uploaded is a patch with 1.28x size. Remember that when creating a patch with DBC files, they need to go in your localization folder (e.g. Data\enUS\).
