Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone would like to do me a HUGE favour with a quick model edit.

Last time I tried to medit I ****ed it up hardcore..

If possible, I'd like to have "name" of the Horde --> Relentless Gladiator "name"

So, I've tried to give it a go myself and I've had 0 luck.

I tried both this guide and this guide to no avail.

This is the error I'm getting:

I've tried Ladik's x86 and x64 - neither work.
I've tried editing 1 title and then 2 titles - neither work.

So basically what I wanted to do was:

%s, champion of the frozen wastes --> Brutal Gladiator %s

and

%s of the Horde --> Relentless Gladiator.

My process:

Load the MPQ into Ladik's > Extract the CharTitles.dbc > Open DBC Editor > Edit both titles in the 2 fields (Field 2 and Field 19) > Save it > Open Ladik's > Create new MPQ named "patch-6.mpq" > Select the CharTitles.dbc as the directory to build from > Leave the hash table as default > Create the file > Place in WoW\Data > Launch WoW

Am I missing something?

So I just need Ladik's MPQ Editor and that DBC Editor?

I downloaded ladik's MPQ editor, but its a newer version than the one you have, and it adds a (listfile) in the MPQ, making wow crash when it tries to load the mpq :<

Does anyone know what version that one is?

So.. I tried to just do this simple change using that guide up there (but my Ladik's MPQ editor was version 3.0.0.420) and this is what I ended up with..

I uploaded a ZIP file for you, containing 3 programs. Ladik's MPQ Editor Version 2.0.1 (the same version as Glynbeard was using in his little guide, I think), dbcutil and CSVed. dbcutil is a program that converts .DBC files into CSVed files by dragging and dropping it on "DBCutil.exe". When you've converted it into a CSVed file, you can use CSVed to edit it, when you're done editing your file just drag and drop it on "DBCutil.exe"once more and it will be converted back to a .DBC file.
