    HuF Simple animation swap, need a hand here!

    Hello there!

    I used to have few animations swaped on my HuF chars, I used to do this using the old Glitchy`s MES.

    What I want to know is how to dbc edit (I did search a lot and could not get it to work tbh) the animation swap for this race/gender.

    I want to:

    Swap the stand animation to the levitating animation.
    Swap the spell cast aoe animation (the one that the girl put her left hand up, like when casting blizzard) to the roar animation (much cooler imo);

    If you pros could point me how to dbc edit (or at least what - and where- file to edit), or make me this edit. Id be very happy!

    Thank you very much.

    Well it would be the .anim files that you are looking at. You would want to use wowmodelviewer to see which anim corrosponded the animation that you wanted.

    Then just back an MPQ using wowstudio and rename levitate.anim (not actual name gonna have to look it up) to standing.anim.

    Hrm there are a few guides.

    Basically you are going to use MyWarcraftStudio to extract all the ANIM files for Human. Then create a MPQ file that swaps a few of the anim files (you just rename them and make a new MPQ). Its a pretty simple edit once you figure out what animation goes where.

    Look at a few guides on MyWarcraftStudio. The file structure you are playing with is CHARACTER->HUMAN->FEMALE so mess around with the anim files in there.

    Remember you only need the files you want to change. So you are going to have a new standing animation (you just take leviatate and rename it to standing) and a new cast animation (same thing here).
