    noggit problem

Alright, posting it again (sorry for writing in the wrong thread last time).
First off, I'm not a native English speaker, I'm Hungarian. And I'm new to this whole thing, so don't flame me if there are typos in the post or I don't know basic things about Noggit, or MMOwned.
I've got a problem with Noggit, which I downloaded from zs9.ru.
    I'm a GM on a 3.0.9a enUS patched server (Yeah, old, don't care), and Noggit doesn't start. Here's Noggit's log.txt:

    .\wowmapview.cpp:216 > Nogg-It Oct 1 2009, 21:04:51
    Game path: D:\Stuff\Games\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft\Data\
    .\wowmapview.cpp:255 > Locale: enUS

.\FreeType.cpp:232 > ERROR: FT_New_Face failed (there is probably a problem with your font file)
I got one more problem: After I try to start Noggit a few times, my WoW breaks. (Can't even start it, WoW Error) The error message is the following:

This application has encountered a critical error:

    ERROR #121 (0x85100079) Version Mismatch
    Program: D:\Stuff\Games\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe

    Unable to open DBFilesClient\Startup_Strings.dbc

Press OK to terminate the application.
I uninstalled wow, erased everything related to it from the registry, reinstalled it and it works, but it's happening all the time I try to use Noggit.
Hope you guys can give me some advice...
My apologies if these kind of problems have been solved in another thread, if so, please post the URL here.
And please, don't flame me, I know I'm not a genius, yeah...
Thanks for your advices and answers. Best regards to everyone!

First of all: That version is outdated. Get the newest one from my thread in the general forums here.

Second: It ****s up locale-enUS.MPQ. I have no idea why. Therefore: rename that thing (back it up) and also extract all its data to the WoW-directory so Noggit can access it.

After running Noggit, restore the MPQ.

I really have no idea where that strange bug comes from and also have no possibility to detect it as I use the deDE locale, where that problem wont happen. Its a problem of the enUS / enGB only.

Thanks for the quick reply schlumpf, gonna try these things and write the results here.

Thank you schlumpf, it works! :yourock2:
I downloaded the Wownima MPQ Extractor, extracted the locale-enUS.MPQ and it worked wonders.
    +Rep man! :icon_headbang:

EDIT: I'll be sure to post some of my better works in Noggit on mmowned!

I've found a temporary solution for the "Unable to open DBFilesClient\Startup_Strings.dbc" problem for enUS and enGB patched players:
I "borrowed" one of my friend's locale-enUS.MPQ file, copied it into my wow folder, and my WoW is normal again. So, you don't have to reinstall and stuff...hope this will help to someone!

No, I got the locale-enus.mpq file stashed away in another folder, and when it's ****ed up I'll replace it. However, if you made something with noggit that you'd like to keep, I suggest to keep the 'bad' locale-enus.mpq somewhere too.
(I'm not sure about ANYTHING, sorry..)
