Change NPC to Character

Hi

I am looking for a way to change an NPC to look like my player (human paladin) for machinima.

I have been lookin into this for a while and it seems u could make a texture of your player and swap it to an npc, but then theres the hair on the npc to worry about ( my player has the human spiky hair).

I was also thinkin there might be someway to swap player info with npc info in the dbc. Anyone have any ideas?
