Cant reskin... skins turn green

I looked up every for tutorial I could find to learn how to edit textures in wow, but it doesnt seem to work to me... Im trying to tattoo one human skin for my paladin, so I did the usual:

-open the .MPQ with MPQEditor
-extract the texture i wish to modify
-convert the .blp file to .pnj with BLP2PNJ
-edit the pic
-make it .blp again
-pack into a new .MPQ with the correct path and name it patch-"number".MPQ in my case I tried several numbers and letters
-and ready to play

It should be all right but instead of changing the texture it just turns all the skin green except for the face and clothes. I checked with MyWarcraftStudio and I can see the texture clearly. I dunno what Im doing wrong, please give some tips.

That looks like the green in ED, maybe you need to turn of spectacular lightning effect?

I turned spectacular lightning off but its still the same

Try using an other converter..
Try BLP2PNG Instead, works for me.

You need to convert Character-Skins as palettized(use GIMP or so to convert your PNG to palettized one, then you won't need the options for BLPConverter...).

Sorry I meant PNG instead of PNJ, just a mistake, tried TGA as well but wouldnt work
