Question on Pet Change

I want to make my Owl (Texture: OwlBlack.blp) to look like the Epic Flying Mount (Purple Gryphon) but when i attempt to change the skin, theres more than one skin for the Gryphon and only 1 will show up, the wings stay white
The Question is:
Is there a possibility of being able to change it? or am i in a hopeless situation and will have to live with it

I think because the gryphon has multiple textures, you're screwed.
