When downloading modified MPQs

When I download a edited MPQ to replace a model (e.g. NeM -> TaM), where do I place the MPQ? What do I call the MPQ? and is there anything else that I have to do?

Rename it to patch-3.MPQ (MPQ is case-sensitive) and place it in your WoW/Data folder. Prior to 3.2.2, use WoWMe. Of not, you can play with your edits from there.
