Color and size change

Is there a way to get this shoulder: http://i.thottbot.com/ss/o/37606.jpg
I thought its similar to the :Field Marshal's Dreadweave Shoulders - Item - World of Warcraft Just bigger and with other color,
However my request would be to change its color into shadowy black/blue or metal black/blue.
If u can help me how to model it, i would do the job.
Or if somebody can do it for me i would be rly happy, cant tell how much...

Im asking this becaus i got through the whole site searching for any way but couldnt find anything related to "this".

I know that i can model swap very easily or use mws/Glitchy.. but its not like this .. i have no idea how to make the model myself in CS3. And i also think there's an easyer way. Model swapping is impossible becaus these shoulders never got relased for players.
