I've found what I need, what do I do now?

Hey, first of all if you're reading this thanks for your help.

I'm trying to model edit my female troll to a male undead. I've found the .mpq file I need to do this in another thread but I searched and was unable to find the correct method to incorporate this into my game play.

If someone could give me a quick run down or a link to one I'd be eternally grateful.

i assume its patch-3 or something, just put it in ur data folder

Extract the .MPQ file into your WorldOfWarcraft/Data folder, then run WoW via WoWMeFix (not needed for 3.2.0).

Hey, thanks for the replies.

Seems as though I had to rename the mpq, I did that and now I'm getting crit errors when I launch my WoW. I think I need to edit something with a program called mpq master but I can't seem to find a download for it. If anyone knows a simple fix to this issue I'd be quite grateful. Thanks again.

blank_01. There's evidently a conflict of data somewhere - you shouldn't have to endure such palava. Packing an MPQ is easy. Tell me what you need and i'll fix it up for you and upload a decent (PM me or MSN), working MPQ for you to use - saves you from searching around for software.

race swaps are easy to do once u know how, jsut a lil time consuming if u wanna fix the helms and hair and god knows what else doesnt work haha.

it sounds like the mpq wont load up right? ah well sin's got u covered it looks like (there goes a chance at rep for me lol)

but hey, if u wanna do it the easy way instead of all the crap of doing a race swap by hand glitchy's MES can do it in a matter of a few clicks.

I think he said I'd need it if I wasn't using patch 3.2 etc etc. Which I'd be doing if I was on a private server or something I'm assuming but I'm not, he was just putting the information out there incase I was.

Update:

I installed it and logged in, and it changed everything great. The only issue is he has a huge hole in his face



If I go to the barber shop and change the features will it fix this issue? Or is it something I can do nothing about?

Also, the helmet is a little sketched out, but you told me it might be, if there's nothing I can do about it I can always keep it on hide!
