Nude Skin attempt

So.. I'm attempting to reskin the Blood Elf female newd bodies with some bits off of one of my TS2 skins and well I edited the png and converted it back to a BLP and tucked into an MPQ... but! All the body is entirely black and if I look on my list, like the character selection list, and select a character that has gear on and then look back at my naked one, the image of the gear is on the naked one. Frustrating! Is there something magically special I need to do to make it work in the MPQ?

I just do? I like to have some level of realism. It's not because I'm a pervert (Though I am a RPer, and apparently that's synonymy..) it's because when I take my clothes off I don't have red underpants painted on me, and so my character shouldn't either. Of course that ends there because I'm not a lovely thin whisp of a girl, but why I want to do it is neither here nor there, I plan on doing more editing in the future and if I learn how to do -one- thing I can do another, I learn quickly that way.

And to answer your question, sounds like you used the wrong texture encoding. Character skins are 256 colours with no alpha channel.
