    [Question] 3ds max and models

I got really bored at history class today and I started to design a sword which I could perhaps model into wow, but I am not sure if it is still possible cause last time I tried it kept complaining about skin file being corrupted --_--
So is modeling a weapon with 3ds max possible and then adding it to wow possible? And if yes what format should I save the file to make it able to be edited into .M2 and .Skin?

Playing a game for the graphics is like watching porn for the storyline.

You and me both brother.. lmfao.
There is a command prompt program that Tiguris made, which can convert .3ds to an .m2 with the skin.. I might've read the Original Post wrong.. but if you haven't done this already, try it..

PS: Keep the files in .3ds format.

No Problemo. Good luck with adding your models in-game, Tiguris has also created some otehr awesome modeledit tools, you should check them out.

if tigus tools fail (wich they sadly seem to do some times :S) then try glitchys mes, it got a converter, it just leaves a "watermark" in the file, nothing visible.
