    Reskin Guide

    Hello Community,
today i wanna show you how to reskin with photoshop and mywarcraftstudio.

    Requirements:

    - mywarcraftstudio (download: MyWarCraftStudio.rar)
    - photoshop cs4 (download: Bildbearbeitung | Adobe Photoshop*CS4 [for serial msg me])
    - png to blp converter (download: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service)

    Find your .blp file:

    1. Open Mywarcraftstudio and change the filesearch to "All file (*.*)"

    2. Click on "File(F)", "Open MPQ Archieve..." and browse to your "Data" folder. Select common.MPQ and wait till it's loadet.

    3. If everything is right on the left should appear a few folders like in the picture

    4. Now open "Creature" and search the folder with the name of the mob you wanna reskin. (example: DruidBear)

    5. In the folder are a few .blp files. Rightclick "DruidBearskin.blp" and select "Copy Treepath".

    6. Open notepad and paste the path into and minimize it. We will need it later ...

    7. Now leftclick "DruidBearskin.blp". A picture should appear in the middle of mywarcraftstudio.

    8. Click on "save image" and save it as a .tga file

    9. You can close mywarcraftstudio if you want ...

Editing the .tga file with photoshop:

    1. open your freshly saved .tga file with photoshop.

    2. Now you can edit the picture like you want (be creative)

    3. When you are finished Click on "Datei" and then "Speichern unter...". Save the file with the same name and the extension ".png".

    4. Drop the saved "DruidBearskin.png" in the downloadet converter . A new file with the extension ".blp" should appear in the folder.

    Create the new .MPQ:

    1. Open mywarcraftstudio again.

    2. Click on "Pack(P)" and then "Create MPQ Archieve". Browse to your wow Data folder and name it "Patch-x.MPQ".

    3. Click on "Pack(P)", "Add File Archieve..." and select your converted "DruidBearskin.blp".

    4. Now bring your notepad to front again and copy the path to the "DruidBearskin.blp" and paste it before the "DruidBearskin.blp" in mywarcraftstudio.

    5. Click "ok" and then "Pack(P), "Save and Close Archieve".

Gratulation your Alliance Druid Bear reskin is ready (you can do it with every .blp)
