Help with spell id

there is a crap load of spell ids in game. is there anyway that i can test and see them all without having to repack .MPQ and logging in and out of wow it takes forever. maybe can i go onto a private server and enter some comand? or use some program so i can just do it on live. i just need to see what spells look like.

I'm not really sure what you mean and what you want to use it for. You can always use wowhead or thottbot to look up spell ids of spells and if you want to test some spells I think you can either go to a private server where u got GM powers.

I want to see what the spell ids look like in game. the ids them selves are not the problem but looking at anumber tells me nothing.

edit: i dont care about the actual spells. i just want to type a command in game to beable to see the graphics and animation associated with that spell ID. I think i remember being able to do it along time ago but i forgot how.
