F8 on login screen not doing anything...

Ok, so when I try to log into wow with a model edit, using the latest WoWME, it doesnt work for some reason, i press F8 and it still comes up with the message "Unable to validate game version blah blah blah". I've deleted the scan.dll and scan.dll.new named the patch.Z-MPQ correctly, i just dont know whats wrong...

If anyone can shed some light on this it would be great.

i think you have got the wrong wow patch. when you are playing on a privatserver look on which patch it is working

Make sure that:

- You're opening the WoWME that is in the actual WoW folder
- You're hitting F8 as the login screen comes up, before you type anything in
- You've got the latest WoWME (Make sure in the note contained in the ZIP)
- Make sure that you're running the latest mini-patch of WoW (Delete all model edits and open WoW through the actual Launcher to begin updating.

Try all of that and let us know if it works.
