Perfect tauren female to night elf female

Sadly, the perfect swap found here (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/simple...ome-me-xp.html) doesn't work in WotLK.

I'd like to tackle updating it, the only problem being I'm pretty much clueless with model editing.

I can do the tauren to night elf part, and although I haven't figured out the exact right amount to shrink it I can change the size.

But I have no idea how to fix the hair/skin textures (the only threads I've found on tauren hair specify that the technique described only works for male tauren).

Run speed used to be changeable with Glitchy's MES, but the new version lacks it and I deleted the old version like an idiot.

So I guess I'm just looking for some direction on how/what specifically I should do to get this happening. Any advice is appreciated.
