Changing my Blood elfs Hair please help?

Hello, I was interested in changing my blood elfs hairstyle or atleast just changing the color, is that possible or no? I used to be able to swap models fine but ever since that patch came out I cant seem to figure it out. Please let me know, Thank you.

Though I've never tried it myself, I think (key work think) you can do it by finding which hair style you have by opening the blps, then find the one you want, and rename those files. so if you had "hairstyle01_01" (just an example, real hair files dont look like thise) and you wanted "hairstyle02_05" you would rename your current hair style to hairstyle02_05, you would nessicarly have to rename the other file but it couldnt hurt

Great thank you and what program would be best to use for going about and renaming them, finding out which hairstyle is which? I tried using mywarcraftstudio but when i click on a model to open or view it crashes

You need a program the converts blps to pngs (or some other readable format) you can find one at curse-gaming, its called "Wowimage blp"

Hmm I was able to change the color to what i wanted but I cant seem to find the hairstyles at all, do you know where they are and do you happen to have any chat programs we could talk on? Thank you

Hmm, well after looking around, I can't find where the Bloodelf hair files are located, same for Draenei. all other races hair can be found under the "Character" but for the two new races, I have no idea.

could someone help us out here? :P

(and no, I don't usually use chat programs like aim, unless I'm trading account info with someone. But I can hop on if really needed.)

Yeah if someone else knows that be great, we cant find where they are located i see them for all the other races except blood elf and draenei

The new races hairstyle's is acctually in the capsed CHARACTER folder have a look and i bet you'll find them gl
