[Help] Am I Doing It Wrong ?

Hello everybody, I'm new here :wave:


I read some model swapping / retexture guides here and i wanted to try my own modification for WoW. I'm actually playing on a private 2.4.3 server.

I've downloaded WoWME ( For 2.4.3 ), Glitchy's MeS ( Awesome ) and MyWarcraftStudio.

I wanted to enlarge some spell effects and change the "hit" effect on players.

I extracted the two hit effects inside the "Particles" folder, changed them with another animation .m2 file ( Bloodspurtlarge.m2 ). After that i've created with MyWoWstudio a new .mpq file adding these two new hit effects, renamed it patch-x.MPQ , started WoW with WoWME 2.4.3 compatible, pressed F8 on startup, logged in, but nothing has changed In-Game.

What went wrong ? Thanks in advance
