NPC model change

Pardon me, this is one of my first posts, so don't beat me too hard.
There may already be a thread like this somewhere in the 50+ pages of model editing requests... but I'm too lazy to go digging for it, and it's much easier to bookmark this thread so that I can see responses

I was wondering if anyone can link me to a guide or give me a little tut on how I could go about changing NPC models. I'm wanting to change Sylvanas to Outrunner Alarion (random Eversong NPC, only chose her because 1) She's dead, and 2) She's got a BE model) and reskin Alarion to look more like Sylvanas is supposed to look (i.e. not a NE...).

Any help is much appreciated



EDIT: Oh, and I'm already well experienced on how to reskin things, it's only the model changing that I'm a virgin at.
