[Question] Why wont it work?

So, I have tried to change my rogues weapon from Sword of Omen into Naxxramas sword (Dunno what's it called :P) using this guide:

I did exactly as the guide said, even transfered my weapon into the same sword as used in the guide, but there is no difference whatsoever..
is the guide outdated, or did i do something wrong or?

that is an old guide. i havent done Model editing in ages. are you using the Modelchange.exe?

Yes,I used modelchange.exe

Yes the guide is outdated, but only in that the fact that there are common.mpq and expansion.mpq rather than a bunch of seperate mpqs. Also some of the names for models might have changed, but regardless the principle remains the same.

Assuming the model in the guide is the same you wanted to replicate ingame, you likely have an incorrect treepath
