[Question] Dire Bear to Same Player Tauren Model

After a while of browsing the model editing forums here, I wondered if something was possible. And that being to swap the Dire Bear Model with that of your current character. Essentially allowing you to be a 2h tank, Tauren or Night Elf, in druid leather. It would take some work with animations, and I don't know enough about editing to know if it could be made to affect only your playable character, or all druids.

Is there anyone out there who would know if this is remotely possible? And what programs I would have to get to play around with this?

lol sounds nice but i think that would be abit of a chalenge for one to do, and probably require some rather noticable edits

At the moment it isn't a request of any type, I'm just looking for a bit of direction on how one might be able to do this, so as I might be able to fool around with it myself. thank you for the reply at least.
