where do i implant fies

hi im new to model editing, so ive downloaded a human to undead form and i wanted to know which file i need to put in the wow files

you just put the mpq in your \World of Warcraft\Data\ folder.
Make sure that the mpq is named patch-# (# being 1-9) or patch-x (x being a-z :P).
To make the model edit work, you have to edit the newest ModelEditFix(MEF).

its a a rar file but i renamed it to look like a patch and if i download the fix thing where do i put it, and where i get? ty

You put it in your data folder in your world of warcraft game directory.

I searched this site and find that fix it is here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...fix-kynox.html and I think you need to put it to the wow.exe directory. Thats how I understand it. Try it maybe it will help you. I don`t know why but it don`t work for me.

you need to unpack the rar file. Rar is a type of compressed folder, like zip. If you cant unpack you, you need to download winrar from WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files

It is working for you now? If so could you please post how you do that step by step? Becasue I really don`t know what I make wrong and it still don`t work. I have correct name of pach have it in Data directory WoWMe in correct directory start wow F8 login but nothing changed.

ok this is what i did i downloaded the rar file for model change

then i downloaded rar cuz this laptop is new

i extract the model change view into my data

the wowme.rar i dont know where to find wow.exe and put it in

It is working for me now I changed name from patch-V.MPQ to patch-k.MPQ

:HOW TO MAKE MODEL EDITS WORK:
- Download this! RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
- Unpack it with winrar, WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files
- Put ALL the unpacked files in your \World Of Warcraft\ directory
- Download your model edit
- Name it anything from patch-# (# = 1-9) or patch-x (x = a-z)
- Place your model edit in your \World Of Warcraft\Data\ directory
- Go to \World of Warcraft and;
1) Open wowme.cfg (I use notepad)
1.1) Delete everything and type in the name of your model edit (patch-#.MPQ)
1.2) Save wowme.dfg and close it.
2) Delete scan.dll
- Run WoWME.exe
- Log in and play the game. Your model edit now works.

Pressing F8 when logging in is unneccesary. I have nEVER done this, and everything works fine.
