    Arcane to Fire problem

I've started on a little moonkin edit for personal use.. I've changed moonkin model, wrath bolts and its glow on hands, but when it comes to my starfire i just cant find the model for the glow on hands. Looks kind of odd so far, starts loading up something with arcane.. and bam, the mob is on fire.

    Any help would be appriciated

Edit: Problem solved! Turns out, starfire is using the same animation as enchanting, but called magic_precast_hand.m2. No wonder i couldnt find it

Are you trying to make a custom spell animation or replace the arcane with an existing fire spell?

If you just want to swap spells, use the spell swapper on Glitchy's MES:

nah, not gonna use spellswapper, it doesn't allow other spell edits at the same time. switching models manually, instead of doing a complete database, thats more like it.

    thanks though

I think the best solution is to find the animation in WoW Model Viewer and then you should have the name of the animation. Once you find the name in Model Viewer, it should be easy to swap.

Its been taken care of now.
Through modelviewer alone, i had it narrowed down to at least 8 spells that could be it. Neither had any names associated to either arcane or starfire, but i managed to pick the right one. I even got the fire sounds now

I'm glad you found it. There is no real easy way to do it by hand.
