How do you edit character skins?

Hey guys. I'm new to model editing, and I'm loving it thus far. I'm having a problem though that is restricting me to creatures. I don't know where to find skins for characters. For example, I've gotten a request to edit a female BE, problem is, I don't know where her skin is, as it isn't in the CHARACTER file in MWCS. Where are you guys getting yours from? +Rep to the first person that helps me with my problem.

All BE female skins are in common.MPQ and are under CHARACTER/BloodElf/Female. Btw it'll take a LONG time to edit them all : P

use glitchys model edit suite, its easy to handle

Glitchy's MES is good for finding things, and simple race conversions, yeah. I don't know what I'm talking about, but would you be able to make all the belf skins identical? It would make every belf look like your custom skin which is a little boring, but...hell, it would get the job done...right? Just a guess from a not-so-helpful newbie =)
