Help with downloading

How come it is that i can never open the stuff i download from here? when ever I try to open something it always says something like "file type not known" or "Windows doesn't recognize that file type". please.. i need help.. I'm terrible at this game!

are you trying to open the mpq files?

Yup, after I download the file, I click "open file" and it pauses for a second, then it says "file couldn't be read" or what ever.

you shouldnt open mpq files just put them in your world of warcraft data folder and it will work

and you have to have the fix "modelchange.exe"
