[HELP] "no skin found" MyWarcraftStudio

In MywarcraftStudio (version 10) texture edits are fine, but when I try to view an M2 (mesh) file, it says "No skin found" and usually the only things that display are eye glow and armor shine.

I've been ignoring this problem, but none of my texture edits are working, and I'm assuming this is to blame. The only solutions I've seen are to download MWS version 9 or change a dll file to dli. The file I need to change is already dli, so that's not an option. I downloaded MWS version 9, but when I click on any M2 file, the program crashes.

Is there any other solution?

It sometimes does that.. and i dont know how to fix it but, get program called wow model viewer
Helps a lot in model editing cause you are able to see your model edits trough it

I downloaded model viewer, map viewer, and MWC together when I first heard about Model Viewer.

But the problem is I can't see my model edits at all, they do that green texture thing. Custom model edits (not the ones I download) don't work. I was told this is a texture size problem, but the texture in the original BLP and the BLP I add are the exact same size.

Only problem I can think of that could be causing this is that "no skin found" probelm.

the no skin found problem is not it i have that too and it works fine for me
the problem for that is probably the way you edited it, use BLP2toTGA and TGAtoBLP2 converters instead

I forget where I got my original BLP converter, but I downloaded a new one from Curse.com yesterday. I'm going to give this a try.

Is "BLP2toTGA and TGAtoBLP2" from a specific program? I'm only seeing BLP converters, nothing with BLP2.

BLP2 is the type of BLP's wow uses, ill give you mine if you want..

I may have gotten it working. Everything shows up in Model Viewer, but not in-game yet. And I have to figure out the whole alpha opacity map thing. >,<
