    Another WoWME incompetent noob

Ok, so i recently downloaded glitchy's new MES that creates mpq, or transfers them, but w/e. The problem is whenver i follow his directions and use kynox's ME fix, everything seems to be working allright. But whenever i open up WoW through WoWME.exe and press F8, none of my characters are affected. Now what im trying to attempt is to race swap with my bloodef(male) with an undead(male). So i'll go through the steps i did so you can hopefully point me in the right direction.

STEP 1: I created a .mpq from glitchy's MES, filling in the obvious ams and wants to be. After doing this i saved this MPQ in a seperate folder, then i renamed the MPQ to Patch-t.mpq and put it in my wow/data folder.

STEP 2: I then downloaded kynox's ME fix and put everything in my WOW folder, after that i opened up the WoWME.cfg with notepad and deleted all the text in there, and put in Patch-t.mpq(i also tried bloodelftoundead.mpq).

STEP 3: I opened up WoWME.exe and it launched wow, after that i pressed F8 and then logged into my account, which was unaffected by all of this.

I would greatly appreciate some help, after scanning through countless threads/comments this is all i could think of doing(asking for help so desperately). another thing i want to know is if i'm supposed to use the same name that i used on the mpq and put it in my WoWME.cfg, or do something like bloodelftoundead.mpq. But i could prolly figure that out after i was told how to do all the other stuff xD.

Well anyway thank you and hope i can get some positive responses, <3.

ok there can be numbers of reasons!

    1. Check that you have used Glitchy´s right. Be sure that you converted blood elf to undead and not the other way around.

    2. Don´t bother with writing anything in the cfg file. No one ever does it. And put the mpq directly into the data folder. A new folder is not necessary. Also name it patch-number.mpq where you switch number out with 3-9

    3. If nothing works and you still fail, don´t worry we will find the fault!

    Good luck mate

I still fail, i think the problem may be something more internal, like i was playing around with my warcraft studios and was following another guide from race to race, i'm not sure if its outdated or what but whenever i open up my common folder in data, it doesn't have a folder inside of it named "Character", but it does have CHARACTER, and my patch folder has both CHARACTER and Character.
I appreciate the post though tyvm ^^
