[Question] Model Edit Viewing Out Of Game

I have a question here, prob very simple for some of you to answer, but i cant seem to find it or solve it.

I have messed around and come up with a model edit.
i changed the skin on an item, but the only way i can view the edit is in wow itself after MEF is applied.
MWCS doesnt seem to show it, most models dont show in there for some reason, just an animation box with nothing in it.

Any ideas why i cant view it in MWCS?
i thought it would be there to view, but it only shows the old model, not the edited version.

Bit of info, to edit i extracted the m2 and blp from the original common.mpq
converted the BLP , edited it, saved as png, converted back to BLP, then made a new mpq (patch-5.mpq in my case)..
this works fine in game with MEF, just would be nice to view it in some kind of model viewer (i dont own the item myself so viewing it atlasloot is a pain)

    Maybe i'm doing something wrong?

if anyone can shed some light on the subject it would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Yeah i have the model viewer
But whenever i try to view it in there i get a message..

"some DBC files could not be loaded. These files are vital to being able to render models correctly. Please make sure you are loading the "Locale-xxxx.MPQ" file.
File list has been disabled until you are able to correct this problem."

Seems to dislike something i have done.

Thanks for the fast reply btw

Ah sorted it, Seems the data files it was reading from need to be cleared, and it re-loaded it all.
    Works smoothly now.
    thanks
