Changing beard style

I had a look at this thread:

After trying out different .dbc edits I just couldnt get my beard changed. WowMe doesnt even start the WoW client sometimes.

Basically what I want to do is to change from this:



To this:





Any help is appreciated.

In CharacterFacialHairstyles.dbc, dwarves are race number 3. Gender 0 stands for male, 1 for female. Look up your beard style in wowmv, note the number. Then go back to the dbc file and look at the Geoset numbers that match your race, gender and facial feature style. I think Geoset100 is the beard so change that to the Geoset100 number of the facial feature style that you want.

DBFilesClient\CharacterFacialHairStyles.dbc has wrong number of columns (found 9, expected 11)

I got those after doing this:

When I open a file in DBC Editor it gives me error and a lot of text about how some strings dont work etc. and red exclamation marks show up on the left most column. Could that be the reason why WoW client crashes when it's started by WoWME?

You need to use the CharacterFacialHairStyles.dbc from patch-enGB.MPQ, you'll also need the latest model edit fix.

Finally found the solution.



Instead of changing the left most geosite number you have to edite the middle one as well.

Hey, I've been using this method to try and remove my beard entirely, but what I don't understand is that I'm able to CHANGE my beard to ANOTHER style via this method, but when I edit the geosets to the ones that are used by the "invisible beard" style, nothing happens, any suggestions? Will +rep to anyone that is kind enough to help



The HIGHLIGHTED line is MY current beard, the one above is the "invisible" beard that I want
