    [Question] MPQs

So, i have collected so many MPQ files to my Data folder, that i dont have any more letters/numbers to get any more working correctly. So is there any way to get more working or do i have to settle with this amount of edits? Or could there be some kind of program to compress these MPQ files to only one big file?

I would really want answers on this matter. Thanks already.

There is no way to compress them. However, you could combine your mpqs into a single .MPQ with my warcraft studio. Check the guides and programs section, lots of guides on my warcraft studio.

Now when i try to find a guide how to combine files, i just find some guides how to change 1 model. I hope you understand what im trying to say. I know im noob, but could you link a guide how to do this thingy, or just start from the real basics and tell me how to do it. Would appreciate either one of them.

Your going to have to combine files manually. Lets say you have 2 patches each with 1 .m2 in them. Copy the treepath from one and extract the .m2, then close it and edit the other patch and upload the .m2 you just extracted. Put it under the treepath of the first .m2 (the treepath you copyed). There are tons of guides on that, but this should give you a general idea.

Ye, I got the idea but isnt there any easier way? Because i have converted all alliance races to horde races and vice versa. So if i have to do all this manually file by file, it will take hell of a lot time. Cant i just import multiple folders to a singe MPQ?

I don't think so. Someone earlier said that they got like skeleton.MPQ to wor, you could try that (not sure if it will work).

    Ladik's MPQ Editor

Get that app you can extract all your files into a folder that holds the tree path then you can "Make MPQ from Folder" Option and it makes a mpq from the folders treepath.

On a side note i think i will make a MPQ Combiner on a future update of my MES
