Exporting .m2

Hey guys, I've looked up in the forums but can't seem to find something like my question.

Can anyone explain how to export a .m2 file from MyWarcraftStudio?


Here's what I did:

- Open MWS
- Open common.MPQ
- Select a spell (ex Ice_Lance_Missle.m2)
- Right click, Export to...

But the only thing it exports to is a .blp file, but I need the .m2 file (for model resizer in Glitchy MES to work).

Can anyone help me on this,

make sure at the bottom left of the screen, it says that files displayed = all (*.*), its a drop down menu. it may be set to just display textures (blp) which is why you cant find the models.

other than that, just left click on any model and right click it and export and it should work. make sure the one you want is actually highlighted.


if that fails, export the entire directory (spells). that shouldn't fail. then just rummage through that.
