[Help] UD male to Orc male leaves me with a beard!

Hey guys, I signed up here the other day but have spent the time getting acquainted with everything before I start posting and misleading people!

I want to edit my UD male warrior to an Orc male warrior, but when I do I'm left with this horrible beard!
I followed a guide that tells you how to change faces roughly and deleted all the skins for UD male facial hair, but now I just have a big green blob, It's horrible! When that didn't work I replaced my old common.mpq

(My realm has a 600 person queue, this is just a new char I created, problem is the same though)

I really need some help as to what to do, I've searched for days. Done lots of searches on this board, manual trawlings, google searches. I'm stuck! If I could get this working I'd be so happy.

It doesn't look like the textures are being swapped right, check the file by hand.

Hey man, I hate to be a total ponce but I'm new to this stuff and really have no idea what you meant by "check the files by hand".

Could you provide a brief explanation of how I would do that, what I would be looking for and how I may rectify it?
I don't know what this +rep stuff is but if I can give it to you, in return for your helping me, I definitely would.
