    way to retain animation?

How do i retain the animation from an .m2 > .obj ? After opening the .obj in mlkshape it has no animation. This leads me to believe the animation information is not being retained on conversion.

I have tried opening the .m2 in glitchy's suite, but there doesn't seem to be a way to edit the animation (specifically the path it takes).

i have searched the forums, but came up with nothing more then animation swapping, not actually changing the animation.

Ok, through further inspection using glitchy's animation editor and the m2 data viewer, i can see the structure but what i need to edit doesn't look possible form within the editor.

Essentially, what i am trying to do is change the animation of the LightningShield_State_Base- the loop portion of the shaman spell. I would like to start out by rotating the animation path so it spins around the caster on 45 degree angle. I then would like to duplicate the animation and rotate that -45 degrees so the lightning bolts criss-cross each other. I've already tried to duplicate and move the objects in 3dsmax, but when i import the obj back into the injector, i get an error because i have doubled the number of vertices.

Now, i did this assuming that the animation is retained in the .m2>obj conversion so duplicating the models would call the same animation twice, but now i think it's called from somewhere else.

I've been scouring the forums looking for how i would do this. Even just a hint, but i fear this project may be a bit too ambitious :$

this isn't going to be easy is it lol.

I don't see many releases that have significant animation changes aside from swaps.
