[Model Editing / Worldbuilding] Noggiting 1.12.1

    Hi all,

I'm new here but hopefully soon some of you will appreciate my efforts, yesterday and the day before I was tinkering with Mangos and backporting my wow to 1.12.1 (ended up doing fresh install as it was faster btw). Then somewhere in the middle of yesterday I signed up to this forum and asked for some help, with a few hours of searching I finally got Demonkunga's tools from this forum (it had a virused file btw) and started editing in Noggit, this is what I have dond so far in Noggit, it's a bridge between the bit on-top of ironforge (you know the mysterious landing strip and menethil. If anyone knows how to add mountain passes like the one from the n00b zone to kharanos plz PM me ASAP

JUST A NOTE THIS IS ONLY FOR MY PRIVATE SERVER SO DNT FLAME ME FOR EXPLOIT AS IT'S NOT

without any further adue the screenies are attatched :P plz be nice as im n00b oh and hw to delete objects in Noggit / move mountain passes & attatch WMO's & m2's

    Are you sure?

You need to improve your Noggit skills alot, but this is still better than my first Noggit
    Project ,

Did you know the existance of noggit for WoW 3.X.X?
If not, you should give it a try .

U'mm improve my noggiting skills, it looked like I wanted it to exactly lol perhaps improving my idea's lol however it is for a server for me and a few close friends haha!!! Not dismissing your comments just we were all pretty happy with it.

The story behinds the area is that it is a desolate, long-forgotten entrance to menethil with a small town area and a fork so low levels can venture along the path as well as lvl 20+ going for murloc (or other NPC) blood. All the textures are originally there to keep the mise en scene, some trees were moved but overall not too bad.

I am also planning to expand Ironforge with a dark-iron subterranean presence (the doorways in old Ironforge). Basically what I am doing is modding the whole of pre-bc wow, hopefully it will be more action-packed etc. I accidentally forgot to press k for each adt so it only saved part of the edit lol that was a mistake, but not one i'll be making twice!

Currently I have found some other mountain pass area's so I will be using them in the re-edit to make things a little more interesting.

I will soon delete all NPC's from my db, so I will not need to worry about them being trapped in the mountains / terrain and I'm planning new placements and storylines from within wow. basically in my total conversion wow will have alot more interactivity and less linear gameplay. Let's face it I have to start somewhere and as of now I have a custom-mangos based server and noggit in a few days which from reading this forum is quite quick.

I do know about the various 3.x.x edits available however I chose Wow 1.1.2 because it has no BC or LK crap in there, whatever your opinion of that may be I do not like 90% of BC and LK (references to dead characters, bugs in production maps etc) so I will be starting over, as far as I know I only loose a few extra shaders and some random content I did not like anyway. From a modders point Wow 1.1.2 is the pinacle of potential.

Btw I know Demonkunga's tools linked on this site has a virus and I deleted it! It's only one .exe file just warning anyone who wants to edit 1.1.2 themselves.

thanks Xel I hope you recieve this post well and not as a snub as I realise you have quite some experience with this sort of thing I think we just differ in opinion XD

You can download the new Noggit for 3.x.x so you can make holes with the program and use all wotlk models.
Sig removed by admin... upload elsewhere as that hosting site is marked malicious

OH DUDE PLZ PLZ PLZ stop telling me to use 3.x.x I hate that client and INTENTIONALLY USE 1.1.2 all the hacking required just to run the models on a private server from BC upwards ... . If that noggit supported saving ADT's in the version they were loaded in I would use it, if you dev it please add that to the feature list + I may get the source to 0.6 noggit and add features to that. and FYI everyone I have seen the new noggit and used it on a friends pc I DON'T LIKE IT so stop using this as an opportunity to tell me to use it PLZ
