    [World Building] Forgotten Island

    Hi there,

    I want to show you this, but keep in mind that I will NEVER release it

    At the beginning, this ADT was used for debugging purpose under Noggit.
    With the time, I've added more and more objects to it, and finally, a simple test map became a new area project.

    Or course, I'm still working on it, and I dunno if it'll be finished, but I like this map, so I would like to share those screens with you

    Texturing will come later =)

    Ugh. Monotonous texturing Try using more than just wetlands base dirt Also, paint the hills. Tbh the only fault here is the texturing. Apart from that, nice work :P +Rep to inspire you.

    Yep I will texture it in the end, because adding object with Taliis sometimes mess up the layers, so I prefer to paint it in the end than redo the texturing each time I add objects ^^.

    Mmm, id suggest starting with textureing...And who says you need taliis for that? :P just use cryect tools? oh, and try to make all those trees diffrent scales (unless its wmos, then your screwed )

    Objects are too similar and same looking. It's repeating itself too much.
    On the other hand I like how you succeeded to make it look like a city without any
    Stormwind models.

    Add some doodads, texture (use some city DUNGEON\Floors?) and scale those trees
    (as Bjarke said).

    He isn't using gameobjects... He built this via the editing of ADTs using programs such as Taliis and Noggit.

    were did you find the hovering mage that you got over the fountain?
    World/Dungeons/Ulduar/something or World/Northrend/Stormpeaks/passive-doodads/something/something.m2 OR perhaps World/Northrend/wintergrasp/something (i aint on my model-editing comp so i cant check for you. but im pretty sure it's an ulduar / wintergrasp .m2)

    The mage is the antonidus statue sitting in Dalaran. Try /Expansion/doodads/Dalaran/*******

    I'm also not on my PC so I cannot check for you.
