The risk of a ban is there. If Warden catchs you, you are owned. But the risk is very low, if you don't whisper somebody and say it to him. Or if you are going throug walls etc.. you know, what I mean?

But the risk is there - It's low, but it's there.

So far, no one has been banned for normal weapon swaps, unless, of course, you yell "LOL DUAL WIELDING THUNDERFURY" or something. Atleast, that's what I think so.
The edits themselves are not detectable for now.
Obvious swaps like removing collision, adding land, campfire > dark portal edits etc can get you banned if a player reports you.

You always have at least 1% chance of getting banned but you wont.

Warden is Blizzard Security- Programm that find out, who is cheating. It scans your pc for cheating software, while you are playing.
When it finds cheats, hacks etc., it sends a warning at Blizz and you get owned by them.

Unless you edit Buildings to make shortcuts you will never get banned unless you boast about it. Remember, if you are making a change to the game it is CLIENT SIDE, so this means only you will see it/walk through it/use it/etc.

    Ok?

Never is a very strong word. Since there is a chance, never say never.

If you use a change, which is only good for improving the style, there is a very low risk of getting banned.

If you sue a change, which removes walls or something like this, and you get caught by other players or a GM, you will get banned.

Be careful and don't cheat, then there will be only just a very low risk.
