    Custom weapon - IceBlade

    hello guys/gals,
    this is my first of many threads/posts on the site,
    im new to the model editing 'stuff' ect. but been playing WoW for years...
    this is my first attempt at making a sword using Maya.
    it wont let my Copy/Paste so it is an attachment.
    thanks, and please be nice because im new here lol.

    yeah - the skin dosnt look good on the pic because it is kinda two - tone, (blue / white) so on the pic i done, it was mainly blue so looks boring... lol

    ive now made a few weps and sheilds (i only do easy things - armor ect is too hard for me). how do i now convert the MAYA file i made here into .m2 and a .blp file... PLEASE HELP! lol and please link software too.

    If Maya is able to export into .3ds or if it's able to export into milkshape, that then exports into .3ds I have no idea, but if it is able to do any of these two u can use the program listed here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...-programs.html

    (If the dl link for the 3ds max converter doesnt work for u, try the "Demons tools" dl, it's in there somewhere and u can just delete the other stuff.)

    EDIT: I don't know a flying sh** about exporting .blp files though, gl! Ask Jenack, he/she's pro at that sortof thing

    Like its that hard.. ;P
    Export the .blp from the .mpq, and use BLPConverter, and then DRAG the blp onto the application and then it converts it to a .png, now go do what ever you need to, and when you are done, click save and convert it back (by dragging the .png onto the appliaction )
