No problem.
I've been playing since release so I thought this could give the game a fresh look. At least for when you change zones, go into an instance, etc.
Ever since I started working on the patched clients I felt I wasn't quite giving enough. Its just unfortunate that I started this project back during Cataclysm. This was back when I was a super noob with photoshop. XD I'm still a noob with it but I know more than I used too. Actions are my friend, especially since I had to do some things 144 times. XD

Any thoughts or requests to replace some of my sort of "lamer" loading screens? There are probably a few that could get replaced but I can't really tell. You might know how the creator thinks of their inventions. xD

Sorry but I'm most likely going to just sit on Retail for the time being.

Yup, although it may or may not work with a private server you are going to use it on. A good portion of newer version private servers are having to change quite a bit of coding in the client to make it connect and interact with their server. But you can always hex edit their client they give to run custom patches.
As for the one I have, it is the one that Blizzard released. I'll give you the link to the folder so you can find it in there.

Nope, it is still required. I get it rewritten when I start WoW.exe

The patched client isn't required for v1.0.1 since it is using the cache method. Also the only thing that is being replaced is textures. If you do model editing then the patched client is required.
If you say it is required then explain how I'm playing without the patched client and have this working. :P

Rewritten? The only thing that is suppose to happen is the DBFilesClient data and the other data that was in the original "patch-enUS-17898.MPQ" getting written into the file. Also being able to see the loading screens within the game.
As long as you are putting it into the "Data\Cache\enUS" folder and replacing the original MPQ that was there it will work...
**Replace "enUS" with your locale.
