zone revamp

hello, sorry if this has been discussed before, i was wondering if there is a way to change zones in WoW .. like Duskwood for example

i read in WoWWiki that Duskwood was once like Elwynn Forest and so on....

what i want to do is the following:

change the skybox to the one Elwynn Forest has

change the models of trees to the ones Elwynn Forest has

change the ground texture to the one Elwynn Forest has


now im asking which of those is possible and whatever is possible, can you give me a link to some kind of a guide regarding that matter

I for one would like to know what world building programs still work with which versions of WoW. Noggit and Yias are not being updated afaik, but are there any programs compatible with newer patches? Or does it still have to be WotLK patches?

i used Glitchy's whatever to change the skybox of each zone and it pretty much worked out

i dont like the depressing zones like duskwood, the plaguelands and searing gorge so now all of Azeroth hsa the skybox of elwynn forest and all of Kalimdor has a purple skybox. i was too lazy so i nulled everything and all of them went by default for the whole continent, its refreshing and it took me an hour or so, like it

Yes you can do it. I can't link the guide since it's on another forum. But just google "modcraft".
