I know I haven't been on here in a while but I think this news needs to go to all World Building Communities. This is a recent builder who has absolutely no skill, and steals peoples' work and calls it his own just because he reskinned the terrain and added some small changes like a tent or 2. Look and see if your work is in this video, as I would like to gather up how many people he stole from. The majority is my work but I found Xel's Howling Fjord style Hellfire in there so look at the vid and see if anything is yours.

I will explain to you exactly what's going on because people do not understand anything from XCON and constantly crying and screaming stolen :-)

All started 2 years ago, I decided to create a complete reskin the whole world + many world buildings and etc. Last year someone got my patch (I do not know how) and put it here on the forum - http://www.************/forums/showthread.php?t=104932

In this phase, I had it ready for the start of my work, because the entire patch consisted of a model edit that I found on the Internet and I considered it a great foundation on which I can start to work. I upgrade all files, change for better etc. as you can see in this video today, everything is changed beyond recognition and it looks great.

Soon after these events appeared XCON, which began to make a good world building and because I was slowly approaching the completion of the first phase, which is reskin the whole world, I said that slowly start of the second phase which is a world buiding. What I did before. I took the world building that I found on the internet and I started to improve and remake it.

I upgrade many things, I have added hundreds of M2 And many WMO .. But soon I realized that it's not like reskin, I completely changed the whole. There also remains a bit sometimes even larger piece of work someone else. So I made ??a video that I showed how much this patch is awesome and I showed it to the people of XCON. I assumed that not only impress the people of XCON, but everyone who sees this video. I had a plan as soon as possible and write a message to Banzboyz (I did not expect that it would reject such an amazing job) to offer his cooperation, but he beat me to it.

Also, I have terms of Usage and Copyright on anything I made. Unless you want a fine, I suggest you hand over those cata buildings for analysis as I know my work when I see it. Those were forbidden from being taken. Anything else I would gladly grant you permission on and might even do reskins and creating new objects for you. But ask, if granted pemission, take. If not, I can issue a Ip address backtrace and have a warrent sent to your country to have you be fined $15 USA currency for everything you stole.

Hi,

All object from cataclysm is my work. Its very easy and simple transver Cata WMO to 3.3.5a. Just copy wmo and trim, floor, roof, walls etc... and broken m2 change to wotlk m2. Its easy :-)

Only one who has the copyright Blizzard. The big penalty you can get, because you're trying to capitalize on the assets of Blizzard.

I do model editing a very long time, I want to complete reskin all areas of Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms and Outland. I also want to build many new things. I'm very good world builder, and I noticed that you're also pretty good. I wanted to contact you in the near future, for two reasons. The copyright doesn't protect my builds but my custom objects and wmos. Reskins are considered customs. The copyright was investigated, approved, and now protects my objects. If I wasn't allowed to copyright my custom objects they would have denied my request. We can be friends but put credits as I doubt you took a stormwind flag, cleared it of emblems, stretching it to fit the lordaeron ripped flag and reskinned the flag to look exactly like mine. Why is it so hard for you to put credits like Thanks to The Admin of the X-Con server for: Horde flapping flags, water effect, tree textures from elwynn.... ect. That's all I ask after you stole my work and made people believe its all your work

Sry but water efect is from wow cata alpha :-) Tree is from cata, I was looking for elwyn trees but i cant find, So I used the Stranglethorn trees which I found easy from cataclysm patch. Only horde flag and 3-4 custom items is from you and in the video is seen only flag. I do not know why so many are you doing :-)

I transfer all cataclysm alpha wmo and 90% works. Here is patch and look inside. World\Wmo\Custom .. It is yours and this is copied there when I tried to merge the patch, but others look at the WMO. Other WMO is my work and this WMO use with world building.

I was waiting to comment about the pacth that I put in previous message and someone from XCON wrote comment to my video "Most of this it Belongs XConExpansionServer" and Banzboyz77 supported him and now he began to write things like all is stolen etc.

My meaning of coop is me making reskins and new objects for you, not taking my buildings and reskinning the ground and calling them yours. Even if you added or deleted some things that doesn't make it yours. You have potential but stealing people's work isn't the way to get on top. Been working to get where I am for a year and I ain't going to let someone come along and take it from me by making my org gate green of something.

12/14 of my world builds are in your patch, that's more than 5%. On top of that your taking from my current patches, not my old ones. The builds are designed to be for a custom expansion of my own. This means no one and I mean no one is allowed to take them and do what you did to them. You want my builds, build your own versions from scratch. I thought you took a few objects but you took half of my patch and put it into yours. My staff isn't happy as you saw, my members aren't happy, the world ...

The patch is more than 14 world buildings only you can not find them, but it does not matter. 75% of the world builds a newly built, improved and they look great. On the others I have not had time. And again you do not understand .. I merged my patch and you or xcon patch. Of course, there are things you've built, but much improved and they look much better.

I never said that it is all mine .. contrary, I say it's from them .. and it's improved ... Download the patch and see for yourself .. and I said that to finish patch I write credits.

The builds are not to be public to any other server. I even got terms of usage to protect them so that no one could use anything I made. Went through all the trouble to make sure this exact thing didn't happen. You my sir, are being reported if this link isn't down by tomorrow in 24 hours. By reported I mean I will speak with the Chief of the Eastern New York department; the same person that approved the terms of usage, for a warrent to be issued to Youtube for your Ip address and a warrent to your country for your arrest. That what you just performed my friend, is against copyright laws in all countries.

If I wanted to sue you right now, I can. Copyright needs to be approved and checked out to see if the service/ product does not already have copyrights, and it turns out creating new skins for objects is considered a new product. Therefore all objects I have created have no subject to blizzard's terms of usage.

That would be my staff and players. They really don't like it when they see the evolutions of the zones when they download a new beta patch each week and they say I have improved massively and it was good I put copyright on the builds and objects because they said this would eventually happen and I could make some big bucks out of it.

Upgrade a build not built by you is still stealing. Doesn't matter if it's changing the building arrangement or adding to it, if one object is in the same position as it use to be it's still stealing. If you were to make it by yourself, it is really difficult to put an object at the same exact position as someone else but you didn't.

Thanks for saying I'm a good builder but finding builds on the internet and remaking them is really uncreative and really bad for reputation as you see. You can get ideas from things but taking peoples builds just shows your lazy. I am building a completely new Orgrimmar by hand, you going to steal and change that too?

You have many followers that are clueless about the situation, but the followers I have that know exactly what is going on and what phases I went through to get where I am; they are telling me this:

Just some examples of what my team thinks of you. I'm trying to make you see, your not helping the people, your angering them. 210 or so people are mad at you because I posted a link on my server to your video, they put 2 and 2 together as it was a big deal when the org flags were made. It was my first new object and everyone said the gates were almost incomplete without them. I got my whole msn flooded with complaints against you yesterday and I could barely sleep because my computer kept making that dinging noise from msn. Friends from the Model Editing community from mmowned and people from my server kept typing even when I wasn't there just to type something out. I thought you wouldn't want to see everything they wrote because only the admins kept their rage at a minimum ( besides Fletch.) I like your work and I'm not degrading you, I'm merely saying stop using my work as templates because no one really appreciates that. Not my friends, not my family that supports me in making the expansion pack, not the staff helping me make it, or the community that is trying to make it grow: a bit rough but people don't like the server right now as quests haven't been made yet. They might not like the server's status now, but they love my world builds and respect me for it. You should do the same by giving me as much respect as making your own orgrimmar gate, making your own brill from stratch, and not taking anymore of my work for templates.

Any manipulation or change of the files that are owned by Blizzard is not allowed. This means that all who make editing the model breaks the rules.

I saw minas morgul in video and I liked it .. I decided to take i try to build. Xel use by another skybox and change rocks m2 to trees .. i rekined rocks to brown colour and use atd method for trees. i've never seen that Minas Morgul or XEL peninisula have to download. I said "I'm doing it for people .. i then give the patch for all and free"

Why should I not try to do something similar ? .. and not only with the boast, but to put it for all

Criticism from BanzBoyz77 is personal attack :-) but you know how to say fair criticism. I have a very simple reason why i now do not give credits and waiting for finishing. I plan to present the credits in the game, i build their own building, which will be called Museum and it will be provided at all the information, credits, etc. .. I create custom object for the job.

When I asked you to clear my work off your patches you just said I am doing it for the people, therefore even if you put credits you didn't get the author's permission, that's stealing. Think like this: Let's say your creating a server called for example "World of Warcraft: Old Lordaeron" and you made this awesome patch with custom zones and Lordaeron restored and wanted it as an advertisement for your server? Then someone's steals your patch, swap a few models and textures and a few more models and then release it for the public? Good job your server now have what everyone else have and let's say you worked on that for 1 year? More? Would you want that, Reznik? Obviously you will never be able to understand this as you have never made a such large model edit. Also I want to ask you: Did you get Teh Blms0r's permission for his Imlad Morgul patch?

Just clear your patch from his builds due to the reason he will use his worldbuilds and model edits as advertisment to his server. Stolen is if I took the XCON-patch and I wrote it that it's my job. I released it for the people and published by him for my. But I've never written that it's my job. I tried to merge my patch and XCON Patch. I did not release him. I made a video where I just showed my work. I wrote a message to BanzBoyz about this patch and I wanted to offer cooperation. Nothing more happened .. and you still say stolen. So you're normal? Be enough to say: thank you but I'm not interested in cooperation ... and for me no problem to erase a few adt are from XCON.

But I'm not surprised .. here is it normal this behavior. Several years ago when I started doing exploits / exploration etc... I feel, that you underestimate reskin, but we must realize how hard it is to do if you want to change all world. Many areas using the same files and do that all files are compatible together and look good is not easy.
