[Model Swap] Cataclysm login screen to Vanilla

As the thread name says this is a small patch that changes the cataclysm login screen to the vanilla one

Here's a download link Download
You have to coppy/paste this file to your World of Warcraft/Data folder, before starting wow you have to use this (when you open the software mark everything and click apply) or the game will delete the file when you start it.

I don't recomend you to use this on retail wow as you may get banned.

+1, I really looked for a vanilla login screen when I was still playing, I'd totally use this if it wasn't for the fact that WoW has turned into complete shit since Wotlk, but kudos for the nice work!

Thanks a lot for uploading this -- I've been looking for a new version of this mod since cata came out. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. I placed the file in my Data folder, and I've got VX2's patch installed. Any ideas?

Hmm, did you check everything in the patcher? try starting WoW from WoW.exe not from the launcher

Thanks for the reply. However, I've done both of those things to no avail. (Although I am unable to check "Disable 'Second socket connection'", but I think for build 14333 that option is supposed to be disabled?)

Yes you cant check that box, but it should work without it, I just tested it again and it works for build 14333, if you have earlier build than 13287 it will probably not work.
Try moving/renaming the file after you launch the game, if you get an error then its loaded, if you can rename it or move it, the game doesnt load it, that means the patcher isnt working right, you have to click on apply not on recheck (i did that mistake once and it didnt work)

Thanks for getting back to me again. I checked and I'm unable to rename the file while the game is loaded. Also, I checked and I have been hitting apply with the patcher.
