You know, you could always write your own, Mac-compatible version of an MPQ editor (would probably take a few days to a week for something simple). The mac users would love you. :P
Or you could just use a virtual PC and run Windows on that...

Anyways, here's a DBC edit of your request. Only thing missing is the icon when you have it equipped, because that's server side. I could fix it, but I'd have to actually change the model and image instead of just a quick DBC edit. I might do it later if you want.

I'll take a look at doing the icon. It might be a tad difficult, though. I can't simply modify DBC files, because the icon is half server and half client side. Simply replacing the icon with shadowmourne would certainly work, though. I'll also change the edit from being based on a DBC edit to an actual model swap (which just means that it will work for more than one patch without screwing up any new patches, typically). Oh, and thanks for the rep.

Sorry for taking so long. I was a bit busy yesterday with other things, and I didn't get time to test the patch until today. Anyways, just replace the old patch I sent you with this. It needs to go in your data folder (not your localization folder). This is a model swap (not a DBC edit), and so it will affect anything that has the same model as Bryntroll. It will also change all icons that are the same as Bryntroll with Shadowmourne. I apologize for not being able to make something that only replaces Bryntroll, but it's really just not possible. If you want the icon to be changed, it's kind of all, nothing, or half-way broken.

Anyways, the upside to this kind of an edit is that it will work for a lot longer than a DBC edit.

just went on this site for the first time today and you posted a minute ago, just thought i'd get that miracle out of the way first off xD
but thanks very much i don't think anything has the same model as byntroll anyway so i won't even notice, and tyvm for the icon swap looks awesome
