Hey. Lex here. So I'm getting back into world building and whatnot and this is what I've got so far.
(still waiting for a MEF or something so I can check it out ingame)

The "concept" is that there's a group of different people from different parts of Azeroth (different races/factions) that are tired of all the fighting,
so they found a nice island and have settled there. (Yeah it would look better with NPCs)

Looks like an solid idea.

I would suggest not only using the Booty Bay 'set' but also changing the unique design of the layout (if you have the ability to actually edit models, not just change them).

As is it just looks like Booty Bay with some things slapped on, but I'm interested to see where you take this.

I dont like it, it needs alot of work to be good(not just photoshop work), try makeing more work out of the ground textures. its just...plain borring to look at those undetailed textures.
Try look at the hills, Grass on a 90degrees angle? :P Try make it more blizzlike, or just more realistic, like this:

Textureing is also hard to do on those kind of mountians...try learning how to make wotlk mountians, or vanilla style mountians, id suggest Wotlk, cause the mountians as they are now, is perfect for wotlk style mountians

Looks quite nice, but I'd advise against using the whole Booty Bay .wmo for the island since that makes it look like a copy/paste of Booty Bay (Booty Bay is made up of multiple .wmo files isn't it? I haven't checked :P). I suggest you use some parts of Booty Bay and maybe rearrange them so that it looks a little different.

It's kinda hard to do something like this since there aren't too many things that look like what you want to do.

Its not possible to re-arrange the WMOs, cause they are made to fit 100% together, some might work, but rest will look crap :P bad idea to do, then rather extract booty bay and edit it in 3d, and export it as M2 to wow
