Stealth to hunters mark?

Would rogue stealth to hunters mark work? Or would i just see a mark over him, while he is in stealth if hes in my group, otherwise still stealthed? Would be quite funny haha (and cheap)

It would still be stealth until they would be close enough for you to detect them, then it would be a hunter's mark.
