[DBC Edit] All Skins & Hair color Enabler

Dunno if it has been posted already, and if so, i didn't find it.


So, did you ever want to have the Deathknight Skin, even if you're not a Deathknight, or maybe their hair fancy haircolors? Or perhaps wanted to be a highelf, and everybody on server could see it, without them needing the same MPQ?

Well, with this MPQ, you edit your character creation menu and the barbershop to add the various skins and colors, and even after you remove the MPQ (because of fear of blizzard's warden or because it's not up-to-date anymore), you will still look like you did when you created your character.

Well, i won't be posting screenshots, as you can imagine the result.

Instructions:
Extract with WinRAR into your WoW/Data folder, then start WoW via WoWME. Create your character, or go to the barbershop if you got a existing char that just needs different haircolors.
After you're done, i recommdend removing the file or renaming it, as it's not needed until you want to make changes again.


Please test and tell me of any bugs you might encounter, Tested with WoW WotLK 3.0.8 (not 3.0.8a).

Also, please DO NOTE, that as everybody can see the skin/hair color change, so will blizzard's GMs. Use on own risk, or, using it on Private server would be wiser.

This doesnt work when creating a new character. It says "failure" in the dialogue box

Got the "Fail" window when i create a char.

Same thing as so many others. Barbershop works great, but I get a "Failure" box when attempting to create a new character.

[edit]Barbershop actually doesn't work either. Disconnected me from the server when I pressed accept.

WoWME is found somewhere else on this forum....go check for it or use Google.com.

As for those who got it working, awesome.
For those who cannot get it to work, i honestly don't know what causes it it to fail, wether it be another patch overwriting it, invalid game version or something along the line =/

was my first DBC edit and worked like a charm for me. *rubs nose*
