Heh, I didn't know reflex0rzor was Wamp. Anyway, cool video. I can do most of what you show there. And I do have to agree with LowK3y somewhat. It does seem like a show off, but any video could be called that. Nonetheless, nice stuff you got there.

thanks guys, and yeh it is a show off... just wanted to do something with the clips i have. atm i have over 300gb raw fraps material :P was planning on making a 15+min movie but i dunno who would watch 15mins of this. Fun to make but maybe not so fun for others to watch ^^

I have an idea of posting video guides for stuff, but i need a easy fast way to make them smaller and shit, and a nice easy place to upload them. Know of anything good?

I just used snagits screen recording feature, and comparing it to fraps, this is what I got:
with fraps - 1min:42sec is 626 MB - and using my screen recorder from Snagit, 1min42sec is 47 MB - both save as avi
Theres gotta be a better alternative :\

you can compress them to xvid/divx, or if you are using vegas you can render them as wmv. there are tons of other codecs, but thats what i do.
For uploading i would use filefront

Fraps can only record stuff like games and stuff like that and the fraps file is prolly bigger cause snagit compresses it and/or has lower fps

ahh yes, Snagit does have lower FPS, and I bet it compresses it.

Use Camtasia for the screen recording and use the DivX 6.6.1 codec to compress it as avi with Great quality and little filesize.
You could upload it at stage6 becuz theres no Quality loss afaik.

I am now using that to screen record, I love it but it wont let me have it compressed to avi while recording on the divx codec for some reason :\

For best quality in vegas always render in avi 25fps codec once, then re render it with more compression so you still keep the main quality of the vid and have a smaller vid size.
